Yet another Poem: The Rain

The rain pours down,
Endless tear drops on my life.
My loneliness envelopes me
In its harsh reality.
my happiness, washed away,
Lays dormant beneath the sewage.
And the rain persists
Never to let up
Eroding me into a chasm
Of empty solitude.
Here I waist away
As the rain beats down.
Another inch; another moment
Rain rises above my head.
One last breath as it enters my lungs.
Underneath the water
The rain will stop
My breath will stop
My heart will stop
My emptiness will stop
Stop.

Maybe you feel so alone because you shove everyone away. Try letting people in every once in a while. It's just not worth going through life miserable, you at least have to try to be happy.
